Hiran (Somali: Hiiraan) is an administrative region (gobol) in south-central Somalia.[1]

Hiiraan is bordered by the Somali Region of Ethiopia to the northwest, and the Somalian provinces of Galgudud to the northeast, Middle Shebelle) to the south, Lower Shebelle to the southwest, and Bay and Bakool to the west.
The Shebelle River flows into the Hiiraan from Ethiopia, and running past the provincial capital of Beledweyne.
